History

The Liberal Democrats Entrepreneurs Network (LDEN) was founded by Andrew Dixon in the autumn of 2014 with the aim of bringing together members of the entrepreneurial community who share the vision of creating an environment in which British start-ups can flourish. Tilly McAuliffe and Tony Harris chaired the network and in 2017 it expanded to become the Liberal Democrats Business & Entrepreneurs Network (LDBEN).

In 2021 LDBEN merged with Lib Dems in Business, founded by Paul Lucraft, to become Liberal Democrats Business Network (LDBN).

It’s inspiring and motivating to be part of a network of other business owners, leaders, and freelancers who share the same liberal and progressive values. The ability to share ideas, knowledge, and advice with people equally passionate about changing our country’s outlook is of great value to my business.
